Ensley Township Planning Commission Meeting Minutes

April 28, 2008

Members Present: Phil Starr, Ralph Palmer, John Vander Meulen, Keith Bouwkamp, Robert Buckowing

Members Absent: Ron Bell and Matt Bonzo

Meeting:

            A         Pledge of Allegiance

                        Meeting was called to order at 8:05 by Phil Starr.  Pledge of Allegiance was cited.

B.                 Roll Call

Ron Bell and Matt Bonzo are absent

C.                 Approval of Agenda

Starr presented the agenda for April 28th, 2008 as written.  Motion made (Bouwkamp) and supported (Vander Meulen) to approve the agenda. Motion carried. 

D.                Approval of Minutes for February and March ‘08

Motion Made (Bouwkamp) and supported (VanderMeulen) to approve Minutes of February 25^th and March 24^th ’08.   Starr called for a vote, motion carried.

Reports

A.                 Correspondence Received

Starr presented and discussed various Citizen Planner Training opportunities.

B.                 Township Representative

John Vander Meulen gave the Planning Commission an update on the Township Board.

C.                 Information and Inquiry

                        Planning Commission budget for this fiscal is $12,400.00 

D.                Zoning Administrator

Absent.

 Old Business

A.                 Master Plan

Reviewed submission form Robert Hall on “Building and Premises” for the Master Plan

Reviewed the section “Public Buildings’

B.                 Ensley Township Planning Commission By-Laws

Bouwkamp made a motion and supported by Buckowing to accept revisions to the Ensley Township Planning Commission By-Laws as revised April 28^th, 2008.  Starr called for a vote.  Bouwkamp, aye; VanderMeulen, aye; Palmer, aye; Starr, aye; Buckowing aye.  Motion passed.

Motion made by (Bouwkamp) and supported (VanderMeulen) to adjourn at 9:30 PM.  Motion carried.
