Members Present:  Matt Bonzo, Keith Bouwkamp, Robert Buckowing, Janet Dravk, Ross Harwood, John VanderMeulen

Members Absent:  Bob Hall absent with note

Guests:  None

Meeting:

A.     Pledge of Allegiance:

The February 23, 2009 meeting of the Ensley township Planning Commission was called to order at 8:00 PM by Matt Bonzo.  Pledge of Allegiance was cited.

B.     Roll Call:

Matt Bonzo

C.     Approval of Agenda:

Bonzo presented the agenda for February 23, 2009 as written.  Motion made (Bouwkamp) and supported (Buckowing) to approve the agenda.  Motion carried.

D.    Approval of Minutes for January 26^th 2009:

Motion made (Bonzo) and supported (Bouwkamp)

Reports:

A.     Correspondence Received:

None

B.     Information and Inquiry:

Phil Starr will remain on Planning Commission for the County of Newaygo

C.     Township Board Representative:

No Building Permits

One Electrical Permit

John VanderMeulen gave a forest committee update

Ross Harwood gave Crime Watch update and announced dates and activities

Board of Review dates announced

D.    Zoning Administrator:

News article from Bob Hall (absent) – “Hilltop home turbine harness the wind”

Old Business:

A.     Wind Power Generation:

None

B.     Work on Master Plan:

a)  Planning Commission review all pages and markups from Brenda Moore,       Principal Planner of LS Planning, Inc.

b)  Matt Bonzo will ask Phil Starr and Bob Hall where the Master Plan should go next.

c)  Planning Commission to research other Alternative Energy resources for Incorporating into the Master Plan.

New Business:

Motion made by (Keith Bouwkamp) and supported (VanderMeulen) to adjourn at 9:35PM.  Motion carried.
