May 18 , 2009

Members Present: John Vander Meulen, , Matt Bonzo, Janet Dravk, Ross Harwood, Ralph Palmer, Robert Buckowing, Keith Bouwkamp

Guests: ZA absent, No members of public

Meeting:

            A         Pledge of Allegiance

                        Meeting was called to order at 8:01 by Matt Bonzo.  Pledge of Allegiance was cited.

B.                 Roll Call

All present.

C.                 Approval of Agenda

Bonzo presented the agenda for May 18th, 2009.  Motion made (Dravk) and supported (Palmer) to approve the agenda as written. Motion carried.

D.                Approval of Minutes for April ‘09

April minutes were not reviewed.

Reports

A.                 Correspondence Received

Training syllabus for Robert Hall

Matt reminded PC to fill out the I-9 form, Employment verification, for next meeting

B.                 Township Representative

John Vander Meulen gave the Planning Commission an update on the Township Board. There were three building and two electrical permits given last month. 

C.                 Information and Inquiry Including Public Comment

None

D.                Zoning Administrator

On Vacation.

Old Business

A.                 Master Plan Discussion – Review Final Draft.

Discussion on the requirements for public meeting were held 

B.                 Wind Power Generators / Alternative Energy Zoning

Ottawa County wind ordinance reviewed. Consensus was it is quite compete.

New Business

A.                 None Scheduled

Nothing new introduced at meeting.

Motion made by (Palmer) and supported (Dravk) to adjourn at 9:10 PM.  Motion carried.
