Meeting called to
order by Chairperson, Cindy Harwood at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag and a moment of silence.
Twenty-six residents
and guests present.
Deputy Visser stated
the reason Crime Watch was called off last month was because he was
very ill. He reported the picnic in July was very successful with
$1,313.50 going to the Fire Department. Treasurer, Joan Salisbury
presented Larry Hayden with a check for $888.50. $400.00 in checks
to the Fire Dept. and $25.00 in Gift certificates had already been
given them after the event.
Deputy Visser
announced that he would be back on the road at the end of the year
and we will have a replacement at that time as our Crime Watch
Deputy. He also reported that the annual “hemp flight” revealed no
